Hyatt Regency Greenwich is jumping on the crowdsourcing wagon by asking the public (and you too, meeting professionals) to help name its newly redesigned 9,600-square-foot Regency Ballroom. In addition to being able to say you named that room, the winner also gets a summer weekend getaway work $2,500. I wish I had a photo of the ballroom to help with inspiration, but I can't seem to find one. I'll post it if I come across one.
In the meantime, if you feel a bit of naming brilliance coming on, e-mail your idea to [email protected] before May 31. They'll announce the winner on June 8, and you'll see your name (well, the ballroom's new name, anyway) as of 2013. I love these contests!
