On the way to the airport this morning our chatty van driver mentioned that business was way down from what it was when he first started driving the airport route 15 years ago. We asked him why, thinking maybe there were competitors we didn't know about. Population in our area has definitely gone up, so that couldn't be it.
He said it was because "The business guys, they all teleconference now or meet on the Web. They only travel to half as many meetings as they used to." Wow. I hope that's purely a local phenomenon
