Think of all the small groups you belong to: your department; committees and project teams; civic, social, and religious groups, etc. In any of these groups, has there ever been a discussion of the process the group will use to make a decision? Probably not. Most remain blissfully ignorant of the decision-making process they're using and the consequences of using it.
