The Benefits of Belonging
Sales & Marketing Support
IACC assists its members through a global sales and marketing effort at trade shows and by providing members a venue directory listing on its website including an RFP link to facilitate enquiries. For a number of years, IACC has partnered with Meeting Professionals International (MPI) to provide its venue directory on MPI’s global website. MPI has told IACC that providing their members access to a unique range of independent and small group specialist venues is important to them.
IACC also hosts customer round tables and produces a range of materials which support members in the promotion of their venue.
Members often report that belonging to IACC wins them business, as clients increasingly look to evidence that the venue will provide an exceptional environment for their meeting, conference or training course.
Professional Education
IACC is the single resource for continuing education and training for venue professionals. In addition to the highly acclaimed educational component of the chapter annual conferences, IACC throughout the year offers workshops specifically geared to the development, operation and marketing of IACC certified venues, including online webinar based sales training, cost free to members.
Benchmarking
Whether an owner, an investor or an employee, being in a position to see statistical evidence of your property’s performance against other event venues is a significant benefit to being a member of IACC.

Study Tours
Study tours are usually held ahead of annual conferences in Europe, Australia Asia Pacific and the Americas and consist of visits to a range of member venues in different regions. Those who have attended study tours bring back their experiences and share them with their own staff and other members within their chapter.
