McCormick Place Picks New CEO

Chicago's newly elected governor, George H. Ryan, has appointed his former campaign manager as the CEO of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, which manages McCormick Place and Navy Pier. Scott R. Fawell, who was not available for an interview at press time, is a newcomer to the convention industry.
