The Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum is well on its way to reaching its maximum of 200 top executives for the annual one-day event, being held this year on May 28 in Washington, D.C.
Sam Lippman, producer of the event, put the finishing touches on the program recently with the addition of Lori Rugh, senior director of marketing and sales for the American Wind Energy Association, as a panelist for “The Mexican Market” session.
Other leaders in the field who will speak that day include Gary Shapiro, president & CEO, CEA, The Consumer Electronics Association, who will use real life examples from his experience as head of the International Consumer Electronics Show to reveal the essential strategies for a successful exhibition.
Also presenting are Greg Topalian, senior vice president, Reed Exhibitions, who will explain how changing customer expectations are disrupting the trade-show business model; and Chris McEntee, executive director/CEO, American Geophysical Union, who will speak on integrating virtual opportunities.
