Wendy Laugesen

As Director of Global Events at MarkLogic, Wendy Laugesen, CMP, is responsible for producing professional, educational, and interactive events, including an annual user conference; managing MarkLogic’s presence at large trade shows; and producing internal events as well. She cut her event-teeth in a variety of event-related roles, including guest-services at a Vegas hotel, managing banquets at a restaurant, and guest room inventory management for a convention housing agency. Entering into event management, she fine-tuned her event skills through several more years managing registration, exhibit halls, event catering, speaker management, and venue logistics. As a seasoned event planner, she is now able to focus on the bigger event picture, collaborating with the MarkLogic marketing team on content, theme, and marketing of the event.
