The Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Montréal, Québec, is undertaking a $66 million upgrade of its 618 rooms and suites. The Fairmont Gold floors also will be expanded, the main lobby will undergo a major transformation, and the fitness center will receive an additional luxury spa. The hotel also plans to implement a new restaurant concept.
The Fairmont will remain open throughout the renovations, slated for completion in 2014.
