Hyatt Regency Chicago Gets a Fresh Look

With a whopping 2,019 guest rooms and 228,000 square feet of meeting and event space, it’s no wonder the renovation of the Hyatt Regency Chicago—the largest Hyatt in North America—was a three-year project. The third and final phase of the $168 million upgrade is due to wrap up in April, with the complete re-do of the hotel’s meeting space, East Tower lobby, and dining outlets. The project began in 2010 and, in the first two phases, overhauled the guest rooms in the East Tower and West Tower.
