Sheraton Steamboat Resort Helps to Clean the World

Twilight view from the Sheraton Steamboat Springs Resort

More than 4,200 bars of soap and 1,624 pounds of bottled amenities have gone from the Sheraton Steamboat Resort in Steamboat Springs, Colo., to children and families in need around the globe since the hotel first began participating in the Clean the World program in May 2011. That combined 2,425 pounds of soap and bottled amenities otherwise would have gone to local landfills.

The 185-room, four-suite, newly redesignedhotel also offers condominiums and luxury villas. Amenities include the Saddles patio and bar; a playroom with shuffleboard, pool, poker, and TVs; four restaurants; and an art gallery, bookstore, retail store, upscale spa, hot tubs, outdoor pool; plus a new outdoor promenade. Also available is the property’s Rollingstone Ranch Golf Course, and Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs. The largest of the hotel’s meeting spaces include a theater that can hold 780 people, and a classroom that can accommodate 390.

A great initiative that most hotel owners can follow. Join an organisation and donate the resources that would otherwise go to the landfills. There certainly is someone in need. In addition, this will raise an image of an organisation valuable to the society. At Housekeepers London we also strive to make people home's cleaner. This is achieved by providing professional cleaning in London.
