Kudos to meetings, hospitality, and travel companies that are making a difference during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This global initiative each October increases understanding of the disease and raises funds for research into its causes, prevention, and treatment. Here’s a sampling of the efforts our industry is making to help cure a cancer that will strike one in eight women during her lifetime, according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
