The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, right on Miami Beach and steps from Ocean Drive, hosted a group of meeting planners and Ritz-Carlton partners for a “rich and famous” weekend prior to the Financial & Insurance Conference Planners Annual Conference. After a fireside chat–type session that was very “rich” in content about creative event planning, participants headed either to a glam bar in the hotel’s Presidential Suite, where they could get manicures, hair styling, and professional makeup, or to a suite set up for whisky-tasting and cigar-rolling. The suitably glammed-up guests then boarded the megayacht SeaFair for dinner. Participants also experienced The Miami Edition for an evening event.
