Chicago Honors Locals Who Stand Up for Meetings

In Chicagoland, over 200 people convened at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art to celebrate the first North American Meetings Industry Day on April 16 by honoring locals who work diligently for the meetings community. The Professional Convention Management Association, the PCMA Education Foundation, Choose Chicago, Chicago Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International, Midwestern Chapter of International Association of Exhibitions and Events, and the Greater Midwest Chapter of PCMA organized its first Four Star Award heroes contest. Chicago broadcast legends Bob Sirott and Marianne Murciano emceed. Here are the honorees.
